What is this?

One of our favorite traditions returns. Join us for Knowledge Day, our annual celebration of the horse whose victory helped shape Covington history and inspired the name of Knowledge Bar & Social Room. Like many great things in Kentucky, it all began with a horse race. A horse named Knowledge delivered a winning performance that helped provide the winnings John Coppin used to pursue his vision for what became Coppin’s Department Store—the landmark building that today houses Hotel Covington.
