Only one source reports this event. Details come from that source — please verify with the venue before attending.
What is this?
This is an all-beginners class option that will introduce students to the art of pottery. It will cover the basic process and techniques of throwing and glazing. Students will also learn the important safety guidelines and procedures of the ceramics studio. New students only, please. For all virtual and onsite Pottery classes, the tuition includes a $98 pass-through supply fee, which covers the cost of one bag of stoneware, raku, or Lizella earthenware clay (first bags of porcelain are available for an additional $5 cost), glazes, and 2,000 cubic inches of firing space. The supply fee does NOT include tools, students provide their own tools. Additional clay and tools may be purchased from the studio (credit card only). All work fired at Callanwolde must be produced in the Pottery Program studios (no outside work allowed).
