What is this?
Learn how to create interactive digital stories using the free tools TimelineJS and StorylineJS. In this hands-on workshop, participants will explore strategies for presenting information through timelines and data-driven narratives while building their own projects. These tools can be used to communicate research, showcase historical events, document projects, and create engaging stories for a variety of academic and professional purposes. TimelineJS (https://timeline.knightlab.com) and StorylineJS (https://storyline.knightlab.com) both use Google Sheets to organize content, so participants should have access to a Google account before attending. Please bring a laptop to follow along and create your own timeline during the workshop. Participants are welcome to bring photos or other media they would like to incorporate into their projects. The workshop will also cover finding and using copyright-friendly images and media resources. Registration Link: https://ucf.libcal.com/event/17068764
