Know Your Rights: Copyright & Your Research in STARS
Only one source reports this event. Details come from that source — please verify with the venue before attending.
What is this?
Before you deposit your work, it helps to understand who owns it and what you can do with it. This workshop covers the copyright questions researchers most often face when sharing through an institutional repository: What rights do you retain after publishing? Can you deposit a version of a journal article? How do co-authorship and funding requirements affect your options? You'll learn how to read publisher agreements, understand Creative Commons licensing, and make confident decisions about sharing your work in STARS.
