What is this?
The 15th annual Race for Freedom is a 5K run/walk organized by ICT S.O.S. to benefit the fight against human trafficking. This year's Race for Freedom will be an in-person and virtual event on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026, and will benefit ICT S.O.S. In our first 14 years with this event, we have raised over $300,000 and helped to support 9 local direct service agencies in Wichita: Carpenter Place, The Child Advocacy Center of Sedgwick County, Youthville, Healthcare Haven, Wichita Area Sexual Assault Center, Kansas Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, Family Promise, Rise Up for Youth, and ICT SOS. Funds have been used to improve facilities, provide additional services, and make resources more readily available for victims and survivors. All funds received in the future will be used for the same initiatives. Beginning in 2021, funds have supported the Not Alone: Exploitation Awareness educational programming, Advocacy Services, and Fresh Start bags provided by ICT SOS to the commun
