What is this?

The Hope and Healing 5K Run/Walk is a community race dedicated to promoting health while supporting medical outreach programs in underserved communities in Africa. Proceeds from the event help provide medical camps, essential medicines, and health programs for people who lack access to proper medical care. This event also benefits the Hampton Roads community by connecting participants and families with free health resources and educational services provided through partnerships with Sentara Healthcare and the Virginia Beach Department of Human Services. Community members will have access to wellness information, preventive health resources, and support programs designed to promote healthier lifestyles locally.The mission of this event is to expand access to healthcare services and preventive medical support both locally and globally.
