Oddities & Curiosities Expo: Raccoon Taxidermy Class 10 AM-4 PM

What is this?

Raccoon Class Description: Unleash your creativity and curiosity in our Introductory Taxidermy Class! Designed for beginners, this hands-on course offers a fascinating glimpse into the art and science of taxidermy. Class begins promptly at 10am and ends at 4pm. We provide each student with either a skinned, cleaned, and tanned racoon, opossum, or rat hide depending on the workshop you are taking. The first half of class is focused on preparing your form, setting the eyes, test fitting and mounting the hide, as well as grooming. After our first 30-minute break class shifts towards plaque preparation and mounting your project. The class runs for approximately 6 hours with two 30-minute breaks throughout the day.
