What is this?
Nature Photography for Wellbeing is a guided outdoor workshop led by mental health therapist Ben Rainey, LCSW, that uses simple photography practices to support mindfulness, stress reduction, and connection with the natural world. Participants will use a smartphone or camera, not to create professional-level images, but to slow down, notice, and engage their senses in a supportive park setting. Drawing from mindfulness practices, attention restoration research, and somatic grounding techniques, this experience teaches accessible tools for calming the nervous system, recharging attention, and building a deeper relationship with local green spaces.
