What is this?

MixBurgh was created to bring educational events back to the industry, run by working pros, for working pros. This isn’t about any one brand, it’s about a rising tide floating everybody’s boats in this city. We are kicking that off with our MixBurgh Masters series, and we are starting at the top. Sean Enright is the godfather of craft cocktails in Pittsburgh, the man who literally wrote the book on Pittsburgh drinks. For session one he will host the trade at Poetry Lounge in Millvale for a night of pure technique. Three cocktails, one shaken, one stirred, one built in the glass, with full instruction behind each method. The small decisions that get rushed on a busy shift, slowed down and walked through from first pour to final garnish. Masters is something we plan to keep doing. This is the first one, set on a Monday on purpose, so the people who run this city’s bars every weekend can actually make it. Come hang with the other folks who take this seriously, bartenders, distillers, everyone working the craft cocktail scene here. It all builds toward MixBurgh 2026, Pittsburgh’s 1st Cocktail Weekend and Conference, this November.
