What is this?
The PoCUS Workshop aims to enhance participants’ understanding and practical skills in essential point-of-care ultrasound studies for the assessment and development of a perioperative anesthetic plan. The immersive hybrid course includes eight hours of didactic lectures paired with four hours of hands-on instruction. Participants will gain practical experience through live-model scanning sessions covering: Ultrasound assessment of gastric contents Peripheral vascular access Proper endotracheal tube placement Location of the cricothyroid membrane Lung ultrasound Ultrasound assessment of intracranial pressure Hemodynamic status evaluation ADDITIONAL DETAILS & REGISTRATION» For more information, contact workshops@mtsa.edu.
