Free First Sunday

What is this?

Enjoy free admission all day, courtesy of the Nypro Foundation. Join us for a fun and free day at the Museum, designed to spark your imagination and to help you discover the wonder of art through close observation and creativity. What to do: Grab a free sketchbook, pencil, and colored pencils at the front desk. Choose an interesting icon and spend 5-10 minutes looking at it closely. Sketch or write down what you see and how it makes you feel in your notebook. Repeat this process throughout the Museum with different artworks Use your sketches as inspiration to create your own work of art at our craft maker space. If you’d like, share your sketches and creations with us at the front desk – we’d love to see your creative interpretations!
