Dayton Metro Library is proud to host Arts Equity Collective. Discover the amazing layers that make up our planet. Arts Equity Collective will help you dig into this tasty and educational adventure. You will build an edible “Earth” in a clear cup—layer by delicious layer—while learning how poems are built the same way. From bedrock ideas and strong word choices to vivid imagery, emotion, and figurative language, each tasty addition becomes a writing tool. This session blends science, creativity, and fun. You follow along as the facilitator models each step, then taste your creation at the end. Come discover how great poems—like the Earth itself—are shaped, strengthened, and revealed layer by layer.
