
Hospice of Cincinnati: Goal-Centered Care
What is this?
Hospice of Cincinnati is offering a free 60-minute program, consisting of a 45-minute presentation followed by a 15-minute Q&A session. This program will cover Goal-Centered Care, emphasizing the central role individuals play in driving their own care decisions. The session will provide an overview of care options and highlight the importance of planning ahead. Included topics will concern; Advance Care Planning, an overview of Palliative Care, services available through Hospice, and Grief Support resources for both youth and adults. This program is designed to help individuals and families better understand care options, communicate healthcare wishes, and access resources throughout their healthcare journey. Additional follow-up programs are available upon request. This event is presented in connection with the 2026 Mary S. Stern Lecture featuring Atul Gawande, M.D., bestselling author of "Being Mortal."
