What is this?

Most people can list the jobs they've held. Far fewer can clearly explain the core skills they bring to the table that they wish to transfer to their next employment. Employers don't hire job titles, they hire people who can solve problems, contribute to teams, and deliver results. Your responsibility is to make those skills visible to the employer. Learning Outcomes: • You will learn how to conduct a core skills analysis using past work experiences. • You will learn how to create a core skills chart to showcase your core skills to future employers. • You will learn how to present the core skills chart to employers and explain how your skills transfer to their company. • You will learn how to communicate your value to employers with greater confidence and clarity. Through a core skills analysis, you will be better prepared to meet with employers and tell them about the core skills you bring to the table and how you will transfer those skills to their company.
