Cindependent Film Festival Presents "The Public" (2018) & "FRESH" (2020)
What is this?
Cindependent Film Festival and the Downtown Library are happy to present a special after-hours screening of The Public, filmed right here at the Main Library! An act of civil disobedience turns into a stand-off with police when homeless people in Cincinnati take over the public library to seek shelter from the bitter cold. This film is rated PG-13 by the MPAA - for more information about the movie, check out the IMDb page! Before the feature film, we'll also be showing FRESH, a documentary from local film maker Ingrid Woode, who will be introducing the film! Taking a deeper look at the person behind a local growing and gardening business, Fresh Time Garden Group in Cincinnati, OH. Kymisha lets us in to her world. It's not just about what is produced from the soil, it's about the person who plants the seeds.
