Catch Zach Zimmerman as they take the stage at Commonwealth Comedy Club in Dayton, Kentucky, just minutes from downtown Cincinnati. Zimmerman is a stand-up comedian, TV writer, author and friend who has appeared on "Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me!," "The Late Late Show," "Watch What Happens Live" and "After Midnight." Their first comedy album, "Clean Comedy," debuted in the Billboard Top 10, and their first comedy special, "Surprise Me," was named one of Vulture's comedy specials you should definitely watch. Their first book, "Is It Hot in Here? (Or Am I Suffering for All Eternity for the Sins I Committed on Earth?)," was named a Barnes & Noble Best Book of 2023 and was optioned by Sony Pictures Television, where Zimmerman has a development deal. Zimmerman's humor pieces and essays have been published by McSweeney's, Vulture, The Washington Post and The New Yorker. Commonwealth Comedy Club is Cincinnati’s home for live entertainment, featuring stand-up comedy, concerts, theater productions and live podcast recordings. Housed in the renovated former Tower Methodist Church, built in 1914, the venue blends historic architecture with modern amenities, including a full bar, concessions and state-of-the-art production systems for live and recorded events.
