What is this?

Coiling has a rich history among indigenous basket makers and is now embraced by contemporary artists. Today, this technique is used to craft a wide range of creations, from traditional baskets to modern sculptures.Students will explore the fundamentals of coiled structures, receive guidance in realizing individual designs and ideas, culminating in the creation of a small basket or sculpture.
