Join a guided Wildlife Kayaking Eco Tour through the beautiful waterways of South San Diego Bay, ending in the restored Chula Vista Wetlands. This scenic, two-hour paddle offers a unique opportunity to explore coastal habitats while learning about the wildlife and conservation efforts that make South San Diego Bay so special.Along the way, you may spot osprey diving for fish, great blue herons and egrets wading in the shallows, nesting terns (April to September), and a variety of migrating birds (October to March). With a little luck, guests can even catch a glimpse of a Pacific green sea turtle cruising through the bay. This tour is welcoming to all skill levels and moves at a comfortable pace, with plenty of time to enjoy the surroundings. The route is about two hours long, and wind conditions can vary, adding a bit of adventure while still remaining accessible for beginners.
