What is this?
NOTE: Class skips June 10 and 17 Reconnect breath with body. In this class we’ll use meditation and breathing techniques (pranayama) to calm the nervous system, move through postures (asanas) for strength, flexibility and balance, cultivate mindfulness and relax into a state of well-being. This class is appropriate for beginners as well as seasoned practitioners. You’ll leave feeling restored and renewed. Please bring a yoga mat. (recommended props: 2 blocks, a blanket, a strap and bolster.) Yoga with Susan – Susan Mittleman is an experienced Yoga Teacher and Certified Yoga Therapist who believes yoga can be accessible to everyone. She loves teaching people how to care for themselves, to feel strong, supple, compassionate, grounded and balanced. She’s thrilled to be teaching at Callanwolde, where she started her yoga journey many years ago.
