VWRI 02 – Screenplay/Script Writing (Davis)

What is this?

NOTE: This class is held virtually over MS Teams. Screenplay/Script Writing Course that explores writing across multiple formats, which includes the following: FILM Television Commercial Writing (15-30 sec. Short form) Theater/Musical Each format will explore how to Build Compelling Characters and make them unforgettable to your target audience as we build on your personal concepts for your particular writing genre and interest(s). We will cover the following: Story Foundation, Characters, Structure, Dialogue, Formatting, Medium writing (for each format), Rewriting, Final Presentation. At the end of each quarter, we will be tasked to put on a piece (Play/Musical, Commercial, TV Pilot, Short Film Act, etc) for the end of quarter Student Showcase—Participation is strongly encouraged! So buckle top and bring your passion for all things Screen play and Script Writing and be prepared to learn the ins and outs of putting ideas into a workable format for the screen (big or small) or The Theat
