Rhino Trail Run: Alpine Trail Race Series 3.0 Welcome to the Rhino Trail Run! This event takes you through Mt. Airy Forest—Cincinnati’s largest park—boasting nearly 1,500 acres of incredible trail systems to explore. Whether you’re here for a quick 5K or the 30K challenge, you’re in for a beautiful day on the trails. Location & Course Place: Mount Airy Forest Playground 1010 Trail Ridge Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45223 The Terrain: Mt. Airy is known for its extensive and diverse trail network, offering plenty of room to roam. Distances: 5K: Single loop course 10K: Single loop course Half Marathon: 2 loops of the 10K course 30K: 3 loops of the 10K course Note: Final race courses will be updated 2 weeks before the event; we retain the right to change routes as necessary. Race Day Schedule BIB Pickup: 7:30 AM – 7:50 AM Race Start: 8:00 AM sharp! Course Time Limit: 5 hours Perks & Series Information Themed Fun: The Rhino Trail Run is part of our themed series! Costumes are highly encouraged—we give out a Best Costume Award at every live race! Series Points: All runners earn points toward our yearly awards. Winners (Male & Female) even get a TRAVEL opportunity! [Click here for details]. Finisher Medals: Every finisher receives a fun, themed Rhino Trail Run finisher medal. Finisher T-Shirts: Half Marathon & 30K: Included with your registration. 5K & 10K: Available for purchase. Note: Register at least 12 business days early to receive your shirt on race day. Late registrations will have shirts shipped post-race. Youth Discount: We offer a 15% discount for anyone under 20 to encourage trail running among our younger athletes. The Fine Print Community Vibe: These are small races designed to help you connect with other local runners and walkers. Flexibility: If you miss the race, you can transfer your registration to another ATR event. Rules: No dogs on the course. Entry fees are non-refundable. All times are based on gun starts. Walkers are always welcome! Registration: All participants must register via RunSignup. ATRS Series Standings & Points The ATR Live Race Series runs annually from March 1 to October 31. Complete any qualifying ATR race to be automatically enrolled. Awards are mailed December 1st to the top 3 point-earners in each age category.
