
Professional Email Etiquette
What is this?
In the online professional world, how you write can leave a big impression. Email is often our first introduction to a new boss, hiring manager, coworker, or client. This means that it’s important to compose emails that sound professional and communicate your thoughts clearly and effectively. The class will also refresh your knowledge of commonly misspelled words, sentence structure, and grammar, so if you find yourself wondering whether to use “your” or “you’re,” where to put that comma, or which words to capitalize, this is the brush-up class for you! Email etiquette and how to use signatures will also be covered. This class is aimed at people with basic computer skills, such as using a mouse and keyboard, and accessing your own email inbox. Adult Education and Workforce Development virtual class. Registrants will receive a Zoom link prior to class time via email.
