What is this?
Located in the Museum of Natural History in Roger Williams Park , the Planetarium is a dome theater with a Zeiss projector that casts images of stars, planets and constellations to simulate the night sky. Sit back and journey through space in a planetarium show! The Planetarium also has a ASH Warped Media fulldome projector that showcases fulldome show offerings. Planetarium show tickets are recommended to be reserved online as availability is limited. Planetarium shows lasts approximately 30 minutes. Please note: The Planetarium is only open during showtime. Groups of 15 or more must call in advance to schedule a private planetarium show, as large groups cannot be accommodated during public showtimes. Private planetarium shows are subject to availability. Private Planetarium shows ($150 up to 25 people, each additional $6 per person) and school field trip programs are available.
