Catch Max Fine as he takes the stage at Commonwealth Comedy Club in Dayton, Kentucky, just minutes from downtown Cincinnati. Known cool guy, Max Fine, is a comedian from Atlanta who now calls Brooklyn home. Many of your favorite comedians have probably told Max, “good set,” at one point or another. A fixture in the New York comedy scene, he regularly performs at the world-famous Comedy Cellar and just about any club, basement or event hall willing to give him stage time. Pretty impressive for a guy who dropped out of college and also high school. His favorite musicians are Elliott Smith, Phish and Taylor Swift. It doesn’t make sense to him either. Commonwealth Comedy Club is Cincinnati’s home for live entertainment, featuring stand-up comedy, concerts, theater productions and live podcast recordings. Housed in the renovated former Tower Methodist Church, built in 1914, the venue blends historic architecture with modern amenities, including a full bar, concessions and state-of-the-art production systems for live and recorded events. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and 9:15 p.m.; Shows start at 7:30 p.m. and 9:45 p.m.
