Leticia Campoverde, MD Hematology Oncology Fellow MD Anderson Dr. Leticia Campoverde is a third-year Hematology–Oncology Fellow at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Originally from Quito, Ecuador, she completed medical school at Universidad San Francisco de Quito and Internal Medicine residency at the University of Miami. Her research interests include acute myeloid leukemia, mechanisms of therapeutic resistance, targeted therapies, and clinical outcomes research. Her long-term goal is to become an academic investigator focused on improving outcomes and developing more effective treatments for patients with hematologic malignancies. Dr. Campoverde received the 2026 ASCO Young Investigator Award for her work in FLT3-mutated AML and the 2023 ASCO Conquer Cancer Merit Award for her research in precision oncology. JOIN HERE!
